Study areas for the QILT surveys, including the GOS, are defined in accordance with the ABS Australian Standard Appendix 5 Classification of Education (ASCED). The QILT website, and this report generally use 21 aggregated study areas as the basis of analysis. Targets for data collection are based on 45 study areas.
